Biennial Show

Every 2 years we run a massive theatre production in one of Dublin's leading venues. Every child in the school, from tot to teen, is involved and gets maximum stage time - a wonderful opportunity for both the student and their family.

In 2015/2016 our school celebrated 30 years in business. One of our big celebrations during our anniversary year was our week long show which ran in the Civic Theatre in April.

We are very proud of the fact that shows with the O Hanlon Stage School involve all of the students fully. Each child enjoys several appearances on the stage throughout the performance, allowing for a very enjoyable evening for parent and child alike.

There is wonderful excitement on show evening as our students are greeted at the Stage Door by one of our wonderful chaperones. With their tap & jazz shoes in hand, they make their way to their dressing room where they receive a colourful array of costumes with sequins, satin, tulle - every child’s dream - and so the fun begins as they joyfully get ready to skip on to the stage to entertain!

Throughout the evening precious memories are made for students teachers and parents that they will keep with them always. Our students come away having gained a confidence and belief in themselves that they will carry with them throughout their whole lives - whatever their chosen career.
