O’Hanlon Stage School | London Trip
Each year our senior students have the opportunity to embark into the professional world of musical theatre and dance in one of the world’s capitals for entertainment. They enjoy a jam-packed weekend, meeting musical theatre legends, dancing with the stars in Pineapple Dance studios, and exploring the city of London.
A typical weekend itinerary would look something like this …
Friday:
Arrive early on Friday morning, drop suitcases off in hotel, then its straight out for food and some sightseeing before taking in a leading West End show that evening.
Saturday:
On Saturday we go and do some shopping on the famous Oxford Street, walk up to Covent Garden and Leicester Square to observe and perform with the famous street entertainers. That afternoon, in what is one of the highlights of the trip, the students get the opportunity to learn and perform in the famous Pineapple Dance studios, spending the day doing intense West End workshops and hip hop classes. Then it’s straight off to see yet another West End show. We arrive late back to our hotel that evening.
Sunday:
On Sunday afternoon we head for afternoon tea and Ben's cookies in Covent Garden. Then it’s straight home back home to Dublin after a jam packed weekend!
The students gain so much experience and knowledge throughout the trip, not to forget the fun and laughter from the moment they say goodbye to their parents until the moment they say hello again on their return.
